From May 11 to 13, 2021, Sliven will once again host the National Children's Book Festival. The 23rd edition of the only forum in Bulgaria dedicated entirely to children's books, children's book publishing, distribution and reading in the digital age is being held at the initiative of the Regional Library "Sava Dobroplodni" in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Sliven Municipality, Regional Administration - Sliven, Bulgarian Book Association, Bulgarian Book Foundation, etc.
We hope that this year our team will be on site in Sliven and make you part of the festival program, which becomes more interesting and diverse with each passing year.
Of course, the organizers have also thought about the youngest visitors. In order to provoke the imagination and creativity of children and teenagers from the country and from Bulgarian communities abroad, a National Literary Competition and a National Competition for Making Theater Puppets of Favorite Literary Characters will be held this year as well.
