From May 8 to 10, 2018, the 20th National Children's Book Festival will be held in the city of Sliven. The event has long become a tradition not only for the city, but also for publishers, writers and illustrators, who for three consecutive days are a major part of the festival program. It is here that the national award "Konstantin Konstantinov" for contribution to children's book publishing is also presented.
The official program for 2018 is now clear, and this year we will follow the event on site.
Here you can read a short report on last year's edition, as well as an interview with the winner of the national award "Konstantin Konstantinov" in the category "Illustrator" - Damyan Damyanov.
The festival is organized by the Regional Library "Sava Dobroplodni" - Sliven, the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Sliven under the honorary patronage of Mrs. Tsveta Karayancheva - Chairperson of the 44th National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria.
