The platform for contemporary creativity and culture URBANITES SOFIA, created at the end of last year by Ivana Valcheva (musician) and Asya Popova (photographer), is organizing INTRODUCING: 2 pop-up exhibitions in two days.
Our focus is on the first one, which will take place on November 23rd. Here we also meet the familiar name of Alexandra Georgieva, who together with Teodor Genov will present to the audience an ironic illustrated world of images and characters. The result of the unification of their styles will be expressed in the works specially created for the exhibition. The main object is their first art book (in limited edition), and in addition to it there will be prints, installations and a very big “blue surprise”. The event will also be accompanied by the music of Grigovor (So Called Crew) and Djobry (Sofia Beats).
The second exhibition will immerse guests in the eclectic world of Zhoro Peev (Jawpains), who will transform space into the author's typical strange, avant-garde aesthetics.
The URBANITES platform aims to unite people with an interest in the arts and provide new opportunities for collaborations between young Bulgarian artists.
