The platform for independent Bulgarian author publications TI – RE, announces a competition for an art book inspired by a WORD-OF-OUR-SAYING from a literary work. The idea came during last year’s Book Fair at the National Palace of Culture, when the group of artists managed to present their unique author books within the cultural program. “This type of presentation is part of the major fairs in Europe, such as the one in Leipzig. We want to motivate young students!” – say the organizers of the competition, who yesterday also extended their invitation to students from the “Book and Printed Graphics” major at the National Academy of Arts. The competition has no commercial purpose and is aimed at anyone who wants to participate.
To this end, everyone who wishes to participate must submit their sentence by March 31, and by April 15 send photos of the finished book to tirecollection@gmail.com. The format of the art books must be A6, and the sentence must be placed somewhere in the publication. Everyone can participate with only one project.
For example, the organizers brought their own personal projects and showed editions of the book by different artists.
