For ten years in a row, the Children's Books Foundation has been organizing the national "Magic Pearl" competition, which announced the nominations for 2022 today at 11:00 AM. This is the only award in our book world in which the jury is children and they vote for the books they liked - yes, here come the surprises! The publications that saw the light of day in the previous year (2021) are divided into 4 separate categories.

Here are the categories:
four age categories with works of fiction, with the publishers themselves determining which group a given book falls into:
"Discoverers" (5-7 years old)
"Explorers" (8-10 years old)
"Dreamers" (11-13 years old) or
"Masters" (14-16 years old).
one category with non-fiction titles - "Seekers", - suitable for children from 5 to 16 years old.
Readers have the opportunity to support 1 (one) book from the age categories and 1 (one) book from the "Seekers" category.
For fiction titles, it is possible to choose a book for an older age group, but not vice versa. (A child of 8 years old can vote for 1 book, regardless of whether it is from the category "Explorers" (8-10 years old), "Dreamers" (11-13 years old) or "Masters" (14-16 years old), but cannot support a title from the category "Discoverers" (5-7 years old).)
So, let the voting begin… BUT! Let's brag anyway! Our debut book as a publishing house is among the nominees in the category "Something Seekers". Yes, we are sure that you will recognize the Fox at first sight.
And don't forget that voting continues from 11:00 on 23.02.2022 to 23:59 on 11.05.2022.
