For the third consecutive year, the Symbiartic exhibition will be presented, which is being held within the framework of the IV International Student Biomedical Congress.
This is the third consecutive edition of the exhibition, and the goal of the organizers this time is to show a new dimension of the relationship between science and art, which found ingenious manifestations in the works of A. Dürer, Santiago Ramón y Cajal and Vladimir Nabokov, a relationship between science and art.
In this year's edition of the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the interpretations of ten artists - five from Bulgaria - Denitsa Peneva, Venelina Katanska, Bilyana Mateeva, Assen Ignatov and Ana Avramova) and five foreign artists (Andrew Carney - Great Britain, Jessica Lloyd-Jones - Great Britain, Lisa Temple-Cox - Great Britain, Gisele Vitali - Spain and Henning Lederer - Germany).
All who find time and visit the exhibition will have the pleasure of enjoying their reading of the SCIENCE-ART relationship. The artists have chosen to present their ideas with different techniques and forms – scientific illustration on paper and skateboards, video installations, laser-cut brain slices applied to paper, microphotography, stitched paper, etc.
