“Until a man has loved an animal, a part of his soul remains unawakened.” - Anatole France

Hurried, breathless and increasingly lonely in the midst of the modern high-tech world, ever further from our natural environment, we quietly and imperceptibly lose our connection with nature, with the exception of a thin silver thread. The dog - the first wild animal that learns to live among us and to be a faithful companion, guardian and helper.

With the desire to immerse you in a subtle and deeply emotional world, we invite you to the opening of the exhibition “ARDA” by the artist Anelia Pashova, consisting of over 50 illustrations, graphics and paintings.

“Why do you draw dogs?” — this is one of the questions that Anelia is most often asked when it comes to her work. The truth is that she draws all kinds of animals with no less enthusiasm — birds, cats, insects, reptiles and many more. Living creatures are an inexhaustible source of inspiration for her. She grew up among animals and this has instilled in her a deep love, curiosity and admiration for them.

However, dogs occupy a special place in her heart, as well as in ours. They are the emotional comfort that every human being needs, the unwavering presence in every situation and the unconditional love that saves our soul.

ARDA — that is the name of her dog. She is named after a river, movement, life that never stops flowing. Her silhouette becomes the logo of her brand APASH illustration, her image is also present in many of her sketchbooks, drawings, oil portraits, illustrations and books.

In this exhibition you will see works in different emotional states, seen from different angles, developed in various classical techniques - watercolor, tempera, pencil, ink and pen, oil, as well as various mixed techniques. The drawings were developed over the past 9 years.
