What does the future of Sofia look like according to the ideas of its youngest inhabitants?
Studies have shown that children ask an average of 300 questions every day. By finding the answer to the next “Why…?”, we help their world to become bigger and their curiosity to become more and more awake. In order to awaken the universal curiosity, following the example of children, we decided to reverse the roles by asking them a few questions that each of us probably ponders.
What does the future of our city look like? What is the place of nature? And of technology? What is the role of art? What are we doing wrong and what is right? What should change and what should remain?
Their answers were carefully listened to and sketched by Boris Pramatarov, Vyara Boyadzhieva and Mila Yaneva-Tabakova and then turned into paintings, which the Transformers team will transform into large postcards with a big message.
“Postcards from the Future” arrive on 17.09.2021 on the occasion of Sofia Day, in front of three locations that are symbolic of the cultural life of our city, to show us the new direction.
