For the third consecutive year, the Literary Club "Pen" will present its annual awards. The event will take place on November 2 and will be a kind of continuation of the festive celebrations on the occasion of the Day of the National Awakeners.
The "Pen" Award will be awarded to authors with a contribution to the Bulgarian literary context, selected from among the nominees in five categories: "Children's Literature", "Poetry", "Prose", "Translation from Bulgarian to a Foreign Language" and "Debut". An Award for Overall Contribution will also be presented. The selected titles are from the period July 1, 2016 - July 1, 2017.
The nominations for the award were voted on by a jury consisting of: Prof. Dr. Amelia Licheva, Prof. Milena Kirova, Assoc. Prof. Daria Karapetkova, Assoc. Prof. Darin Tenev, Georgi Ivanov, Marin Bodakov, Aksiniya Mihaylova, Svetlozar Zhelev and Mihaela Petrova.
