The National School of Fine Arts "Ilia Petrov" is one of the few educational institutions where illustration and book design are taught. The specialty was opened a few years ago, and its goal is to prepare students for their natural entry into the field of book graphics and easier adaptation in the same specialty at the National Academy of Arts. The school program was prepared with the help of teachers from the National Academy of Arts, and in different years a number of famous Bulgarian illustrators have passed through the teaching staff.
This year, the "Debut" gallery will open the season and the new school year with a special exhibition entitled Lorem Ipsum. The exhibition presents drawings, illustrations and typography of selected moments from famous children's fairy tales, classic literary works and author's texts by students of the 11th and 12th grades, majoring in "Illustration and Book Design" at the "Ilia Petrov" National Institute of Fine Arts.
What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is an elementary sample text used in the printing and typographic industry. It is a well-known fact that the reader pays attention to the content they read, not its layout.
The property of Lorem Ipsum is to have a normal distribution of letters, making it easier to read, unlike a normal text.
