Yesterday (September 13, 2017) the first event of the first art and photobook festival in Bulgaria – Sofia Art Book Fair, which we have already told you about, was opened in the Sofia gallery Hip Hip Library. 28 works of the Japanese photobook, a collection of the French photographer and publisher Sebastian Arthur Howe, were presented to the audience. The interest was really great, and in order not to damage the books, everyone was provided with gloves to leaf through the publications. The exhibition will remain in the capital until September 27, and within the framework of the festival Sebastian Arthur Howe himself will give a lecture in which he will talk about each of the works and the idea behind the publications called “photobooks”.
