Illustrated works: Oh, well, this will be very difficult for me, because there are already almost 100. I won’t bother you with all of them. But I want to share and thank Terri Kelley, Ally Nathaniel, Leah Selakovich, Tuula Perre, Helena Macalino and the publishing houses SoftPress and Prosveta for their work.
Favorite illustrator: I’m very old-school in this regard. Beatrix Potter, Edmund Dulac, Libico Maria, Arthur Rackman, Cecilia Mary Baker, Tony Wolf, Marcel Marlier and at the same time Oliver Jeffers, Alexander Steffensmeier and many others.
Favorite illustrated book? If I had to limit myself to one… I will never forget the books of Libico Maria. I don't know if it's because I like them a lot or because I associate them with my childhood, but Mariah's Andersen fairy tales are images that have always inspired me.
On the other side is Winnie the Pooh, but he is a different kind of love.
What book do you dream of illustrating? Andersen fairy tales, Brothers Grimm, Charles Perrault, Lewis Carroll... I think that no matter how many times I work on these themes, I will never be able to make them perfect (as per the criteria in my head)
