Gloria Shugleva - GloryArt
Date and place of birth: 06/26/1993, Knezha
Education: Secondary School "N. Rilski", NBU, majoring in Graphic Design with a second major in Illustration, but I still have to graduate.
Professional experience: I work, create and develop in the field of design. I am currently a Graphic and Web Designer in a software company, but in addition to my own projects, I occasionally take on others to maintain my creative muscles 🙂
Exhibitions: I do not have my own exhibition yet, but I did participate in several collective exhibitions:
DESKTOP ART (upcoming), organized by Go Guide Bulgaria
Human rights illustrated 2016, a competition and then a series of charity exhibitions
Awards:
I have no regrets, except for the small drawing competitions when I was little, where at the end they give you a diploma and a drawing set.
Illustrated works: I published my first coloring book “Ink Potions” in March. It is inspired by fantasy creatures, witches and magic. I made the drawings in it during InkTober 2017. I am very excited about it and can’t wait to color it. I know it’s strange, but it was very difficult for me to draw and miss the most enjoyable part – coloring during the InkTober challenge.
Favorite illustrator: Alphonse Mucha, Lois Van Baarle, Fran Meneses, Alessandro Barbucci, Yana Bogatch, There are many, on social media (apart from family and friends) I only follow artists.
Favorite illustrated book? Unfortunately, I don’t have a favorite illustrated book, because I don’t own one. But I do have a bunch of comics and art books.
Which book do you dream of illustrating? I would like to collaborate with a Bulgarian author and together we can make something cool that we can be proud of, with him/her writing the story and me drawing it. And yes, it will be something with witches 🙂
