Dear colleagues and friends,
Did you know that there was no International Illustration Day until now? Yes, that's right, we have books, copyright, artists, but illustration, as always, remains outside of all possible and impossible views of the industry. This year, the Quentin Blake Center has decided to correct this injustice to illustrators by declaring November 24th as Illustration Day. We decided to join the action and provoke ourselves and you with a pop-up online exhibition that will show the diversity of authors, styles, illustrations and possibilities that we illustrators hold in our hands in the form of a pencil, pen, brush, feather, ballpoint pen or even a broken match.
WHAT AND HOW WILL WE DO IT?
Send us ONE of your illustrations by email – milena@bulgarian-illustration.com and write your two names, the name of the work, the year of creation.
DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 23, 2023, 11:59 PM
Yes, that's it! On November 24, we will share all your works in a Facebook album on our page. We will not select works (as long as they are not stolen or do not violate Facebook rules), there is no thematic restriction, no restrictions on media, year, format and purpose. Present your work in ONE illustration!
We are waiting for you and let's start the first International Day of Illustration together.
