Open invitation to participate in the competition for a unique author's book on the topic of a paragraph from a literary work
We continue the series of events from last year's theme IZ-RE-CHE-NIE with PARAGRAPH. PARAGRAPH is an experiment that challenges the imagination, creative possibilities and our ability to analyze and build on what we read, through the expressive means of illustration and the book. Our goal is to provoke and spark a discussion about the extent to which illustration complements and changes the meaning of words. The PARAGRAPH project will also focus on familiarizing the audience with the form of the art book, examining the interaction between text and image in the physical body of this object.

We will expect your applications for participation by April 10th.

Parameters of unique author books:
Content: one paragraph from a literary work.
Size: A3 (42x29.7cm), horizontal or vertical.
Materials, colors and any decisions affecting content and layout are the choice of the book's authors.
We will expect images of your qualitatively photographed books by May 4th at tirecollection@gmail.com for the competition's jury.
If your book is approved, an address for the book's participation in an exhibition will be additionally specified.
Who can participate?
The invitation is open to everyone - visual artists from different fields of art, as well as book art lovers. Professional experience is not a condition for participation, and the contribution
of students and pupils will be met with great interest and support from the jury. Each participant can send one proposal.
By May 10th, the jury will announce the awarded works. The competition will end with an exhibition of the selected books. All participants will be presented in an online gallery on the TI-RE platform.
