A thematic May exhibition dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the founding of the Master's program "Calligraphy" at the Department of "Poster and Visual Communication" at the National Academy of Arts.
This exhibition presents works by graduates and current students in the Master's program.
Calligraphy in itself is an extremely complex subject that requires the writer to have maximum concentration and exceptional perseverance to achieve the necessary result.
Since the creation of this Master's program, the people who have been part of it have been exactly that - devoted to the cause of "calligraphy". For five consecutive years, the magic of calligraphy has been happening, different in terms of the individuality of each student, and common in terms of the strength and power of the final result. The freedom and scope in expressing creative ideas is incomparable to anything else, which is obvious and visible in the works that make up this exhibition. An interesting fact is that it contains works from the so-called "before", "during", and "after" the training in the master's program, which is a real opportunity to follow the creative growth of each of the students.
The obvious conclusion is that each of them, regardless of their further path of development, keeps in their heart the love for calligraphy and applies its principles - creatively and in life.
An art workshop is also planned for the exhibition, in which anyone who wishes could immerse themselves in the magic of calligraphy, with the help of current students of the program.
