On February 22 and 23, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., a two-day exhibition and presentation of the graphic novel "ARAKEL - Mimicry" will take place in the exhibition hall of the Union of Bulgarian Artists at 6 Shipka Street (on the second floor). There will be no official premiere, but the authors Petar Stanimirov, Penko Gelev, Dimo Stoyanov-Dimo, Evgeniy Yordanov, Veselin Pramatarov, Rumen Chaushev and Sotir Gelev will be in the exhibition hall during the two days and will try to pay attention to each of the visitors to the event.
In the third album, the action takes place after the events of the second album, but before the first. Arakel Khachaturyan consciously tries to get to the truth about himself and the reasons for what is happening to him. Flashbacks alternate with real events in the present, which resemble delusions and nightmares, but have their own practical explanation.
The third album is called "Mimicry" because almost nothing is what it seems, but despite the apparent ambiguities, many intricate events from previous stories about Arakel become clearer and more explainable.
Duration: 22-23.02.2020, 11:00-17:00
