I don't know if I'm more excited about the beginning of the first day of the National Children's Book Festival in the city of Sliven, or the end of the second. BUT! Before we reveal this year's winners of the National "Konstantin Konstantinov" Award, let me tell you what happened during the day.
The round table with international participation on the topic: "The Modern Children's Book as a Projection of the World and a Look into the Future" began early in the morning, at which guests had the opportunity to hear extremely interesting topics and purchase the collection of reports.
The presentation of books in the lobby of the "St. Kirov" Drama Theater seemed to have not stopped since yesterday and the morning post was taken by Tsvetelina Spiridonova with "The Great Adventure of the Little Whale Sunny" by Kibea Publishing House. Ivan Radenkov presented the book "Cyclists by Lake Papillon" by Enthusiast Publishing House, "Martenichka Kudravelka" by Vanya Avramova /Vanaya Taiya/ by "Pocheti mi" Publishing House. Sotir Gelev presented the books "Lullabies for Fairies and Monsters" (Enthusiast Publishing House) and "The Adventures of Mr. Borovinka on Water and Land" (Tochitsa Publishing House), and Milen Halev - the second edition of "Like a Snake - 2" from Ciela Publishing House.

During the day, the master class for students from the National Academy of Arts took place with moderators Petar Stanimirov, Boris Stoilov, Prof. Viktor Paunov and with the assistance of the ADCOM company and the Literary Marathon in Schools with guest writers of the festival.
