The day ended with a solemn concert-performance. The hosts were Alexandra Sarchadzhieva and Ruslan Mainov, who were looking for a star, which was the slogan of this year's festival. Children from various music and dance schools from the country took part in the concert program, which once again proved that the National Children's Book Festival in the city of Sliven is truly national, because it brings us together from all over the country here. The concert traditionally united the official ceremony of presenting the National Award "Konstantin Konstantinov" in the five categories - for author, for illustrator, publisher, overall contribution and the newest category, for an author awarded by a children's jury.

In the "Author" category, the recognition went to the writer Elena Pavlova, and the award was presented to her by Tsveta Karayancheva (Speaker of the 44th National Assembly). The following were nominated in the category: Katya Antonova, Ivan Radenkov, Nusha Royanova, Radostina Nikolova, Sotir Gelev, Yavor Tsanev.

The prize in the "Publisher" category this year went to the young publishing house Atelier for Bulgarian children's literature "Gornata Zemya", and the nominees were: Oak Leaves, Softpress and IK Steno.

In the "Illustrator" category, the winner was Viktor Paunov, who "beat" Nusha Royanova, Philip Tsonkin, Romina Beneventi, Lyuba Haleva, Sotir Gelev and Elizabeth Emanuilova.
