The traveling book fair will stop in the center of Sofia in the pedestrian section of Vitosha Blvd. – from the statue of Aleko Konstantinov at the intersection with Patriarch Evtimiy Blvd. to Gladstone St. from September 12 to 17, 2017.
Over 50 Bulgarian publishing houses will be located in 18 tents, and as every year, part of the “Book Alley” is the Literary Corner – with a special cultural program, including book premieres, meetings with poets, writers and translators, games and workshops for children.
This year, the organizer of the event – Association “Bulgarian Book” is partnering with Bulgarian National Television on the campaign “Window to the Motherland” and a donation point for books and teaching aids intended for children from Bulgarian schools abroad will be located on the Alley.
