Task for a new graphic sign of the Bulgarian National Television
The deadline for submitting proposals is July 5, 2018.
Yesterday (June 5, 2018) at 15:16, a competition for the creation of a new graphic sign was announced on the BNT website. We remind you that the current sign is the work of Stefan Kanchev and was created in 1959, with minor changes in the background, the form of the image itself has not been changed to this point. Here is what the national television statement says:
1. Purpose
Creation of a new graphic sign of the BNT.
2. Components
a) Main graphic sign of the television.
The BNT logo should be the basis of the television's corporate identity and symbolize its public function, its traditions and goals as a national institution and the most objective source of information.
b) Graphic signs of the four programs (BNT 1, BNT 2, BNT 3 and BNT World), derivatives of the main graphic sign or related to it. The logos of the four channels must reflect their specific features:
BNT 1 – a polythematic profile with an emphasis on news, strong journalism and documentary, a source of reliable and objective information that educates and entertains;
BNT 2 – a polythematic profile with a cultural and educational focus;
BNT 3 – a specialized profile with a sports and entertainment focus;
BNT World – a polythematic profile broadcasting a program for Bulgarians abroad.
3. Target group
The comprehensive audience of BNT, regardless of age, gender and social status.
4. Mandatory elements
The graphic signs must be original and recognizable, with the possibility of various applications (from the TV screen to the business card). The main graphic symbol must be able to be used with or without the abbreviation BNT. There are no restrictions on the fonts or color schemes used.
5. Format
Proposals must be submitted in PDF.
6. Conditions for participation
There are no restrictions on the participants and the number of proposals submitted by one participant. The Bulgarian National Television reserves the right to select one or more projects that best correspond to its public function and program focus.
7. Deadline
The deadline for submitting proposals is July 5, 2018.
8. Address
Proposals must be sent to the email address logo@bnt.bg or to the address: Bulgarian National Television, 29 San Stefano Str., Sofia 1504, together with two names of the participant and a contact address.
