"Let's Clean Bulgaria Together" launches a national children's art competition under the motto "A Good Example"

Until September 5, children from all over the country will be able to put their talent and imagination into making posters to participate in the big clean-up day

On the occasion of the ninth edition of the largest volunteer initiative in our country - "Let's Clean Bulgaria Together", bTV Media Group is organizing a national children's poster competition on the theme "A Good Example". It starts on August 9 and aims to motivate the youngest to create in the name of a cleaner and more beautiful nature.

All children up to the age of 13 (inclusive) can participate in the competition by creating a poster calling on people in a given settlement (city, village, neighborhood, inter-block space, park, area, etc.) to set a good example by joining the campaign "Let's Clean Bulgaria Together" on September 14.

The main condition that young artists must comply with is that their poster must contain information about the date, time and place of the cleaning, improvement or afforestation action and must be in A3 format (297mm x 420mm). Participants are free to choose the techniques and tools they will use to create - from traditional means to computer programs. Posters must be scanned or photographed in full color and sent to the e-mail address: dobriatprimer@btv.bg by the end of the competition on September 5. They must be accompanied by a completed and scanned declaration of consent from the parents/guardians for their child to participate in the competition.

The submitted works that meet the conditions of the competition will be evaluated by a five-member jury of prominent artists and proven specialists in various fields. Among them are Radostina Nikolova - the first Bulgarian children's author whose books are translated and sold in China, and a multiple winner of the "Magic Pearl" award, one of the most beloved faces of bTV and a long-time ambassador of "Let's Clean Bulgaria Together" - Stanislava Tsalova, and the children's writer, popular with the trilogy about the adventures of Unki Marlyunki - Ivan Radenkov.

The jury is complemented by Milena Radeva, who has over 120 illustrated books worldwide and is the creator of the website "Bulgarian Illustration", as well as Maria Peeva - editor-in-chief of the website mamaninja.bg, beloved by thousands of Bulgarian families, and a happy mother of four sons. They will have the difficult task of distinguishing the best posters according to several criteria, including originality of the idea, message, creativity and compliance with the theme. The fifteen most outstanding works will receive a package of special awards. The names of the awarded participants will be published on the website http://daizchistim.bg/ on 12.09.2019.
