In April, the citizens of Svilengrad and the guests of the city will have the honor and pleasure to enjoy the work of one of the most notable Bulgarian artists – Academician Rumen Skorchev (1932 – 2015). The exhibition with some of the artist’s best works will be opened just after Easter, on 10.04.2018. at 6 p.m. in the Svilengrad Art Gallery.
The organizer of the event is the Svilengrad Municipal Administration.
"Rumen Skorchev is one of those great representatives of our native culture who, on the one hand, cover and carry our national creative self-confidence and, on the other hand, is far from that hit song that we can hear at any time of the day. A complex and difficult author, categorical and elusive, classically complete and new in form and suggestion..."
